Wealdstone v Solihull Moors - Match Preview

THE DETAILS Wealdstone v Solihull Moors National League Grosvenor Vale Saturday 22nd May , 3:00pm kick-off HOW TO WATCH This fixture is open to home season ticket holders ONLY, we ask that those due to attend familiarise themselves with the latest ground regulations which you can find HERE.

We continue to run our live streaming service for the match and fans that are unable to attend can access that HERE. THE CONTEXT Fans return to Grosvenor Vale this weekend for only the second time this season as the nation continues its steps toward a return to normality, although it will be a reduced crowd of home season ticket holders only as the Stones end their home season in the National League. Wealdstone will feel unlucky to have only come away with a point after putting in a fantastic performance at promotion-chasing Chesterfield, although goals remain elusive as Stones are now seven games without one. Solihull need to win on the weekend to keep their play-off chances alive and come to The Vale in a rich vein of form having won four on the bounce. TEAM NEWS Stones were boosted by the return of Nottingham Forest loanee George Shelvey on the weekend, with the keeper keeping a clean sheet in the 0-0 draw at Chesterfield. The squad could also see a further boost with the return of Jack Cawley after a loan spell at former club Concord Rangers and also in Dan Wishart who was injured in last week's narrow defeat to Bromley. FORM GUIDE Stones: Chesterfield (A) 0-0 D Bromley (H) 0-1 L

Dagenham & Redbridge (H) 0-5 L Stockport County (A) 4-0 L Yeovil Town (H) 0-2 L

Solihull Moors: Barnet (H) 1-0 W (Ball) Woking (H) 2-1 W (Rooney, Hudlin) Weymouth (H) 2-1 W (Hudlin, Rooney) Altrincham (H) 4-0 W (Thompson, O.G., Hudlin, Archer) Wrexham (A) 2-1 L (Rooney) WHO TO WATCH FOR Kyle Hudlin: After joining in the summer from Midlands League side Solihull United, Hudlin had a slow start to the season, but the striker now comes to The Vale with his form representative of that of his team, and the Moors can credit Hudlin's performances for their shoot up the table with the striker scoring six goals in his last eleven matches. A towering presence up top, Hudlin will pose a physical threat for the Stones defenders. HEAD-TO-HEAD Played - 1
