Tahvon Campbell joins on season long loan
We're delighted to confirm the capture of forward Tahvon Campbell on a season-long loan from fellow National League side Rochdale.
The 26-year old is best known for his spell at Woking in the 21/22 where his 14 goals in 23 games earned him a big money move to turn to then-EFL side Rochdale.
He spent the second part of last season on loan at Aldershot Town, where his goals helped keep the Shots in the National League, including a winner against the Stones in a 1-0 victory at Grosvenor Vale.
A delighted Stones boss Stuart Maynard said this about his new forward: "I think it's testament to the season we've just had that a player like Tahvon wants to come to us and believes in what we want to achieve at this football club.
"He's a proven goal scorer at this level, he's a player that whenever he's played against us has caused us so much problems with his power and pace in behind, and he plays off the shoulder and loves to score goals."
Tahvon will wear the number 29 shirt for the Stones this season and goes straight into our squad to face Bracknell Town over at Rayners Lane FC this afternoon as we kick off our pre-season schedule at 2pm.
