THE CONTEXT

Wealdstone have made three positive performances so far but are still looking for their first National League win since returning to the level. Wrexham have potential investment from Hollywood on the horizon and have won two of their first four games so far.

TEAM NEWS

Dennon Lewis is set to make a return to the squad after missing out through injury last Tuesday against Stockport County. Connor Stevens is still unavailable after suffering bone bruising on his knee. All other players are available for selection.

FORM GUIDE

Stones:

Stockport County (H) 2-5 L (Slew, Lafayette)

Dag & Red (A) 1-0 L

Yeovil Town (A) 2-2 D (Emmanuel, Phillips)

Chesterfield (H) P-P

Wrexham:

Maidenhead United (H) 0-1 L

Yeovil Town (A) 0-1 W (Thomas)

Solihull Moors (A) 1-0 L

Boreham Wood (H) 2-1 W (Hall-Johnson, Young)

WHAT WAS SAID?

Dean Brennan: “They are a good technical side and have a lot of natural ability within their squad. Both full-backs are similar to ours, they are very dynamic and very quick. They are expected to finish in the top seven because of the size of the club, so their expectations are different to ours so these are the challenges we look forward to taking on.

Alex Dyer: “I’m looking forward to getting back out there and putting the last few results right. That's the beauty of this league, there's games around the corner so we just want to dust ourselves off and get a positive result on Saturday.”

WHO TO WATCH FOR

Reece Hall-Johnson: 25-year-old right-back Hall-Johnson has impressed so far this season as an advanced full-back. The former Grimsby Town defender scored on the opening day at Boreham Wood and will look to dominate the right channel against the Stones on Saturday.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

This is our first ever fixture against Wrexham.
