Wealdstone head up the M40 to promotion-hunting Solihull Moors on Tuesday evening off the back of a convincing victory at Aldershot Town on the weekend whilst ten-man Moors scored two goals in second half stoppage time to salvage a 2-2 draw against Bromley. Last season's play-off finalists have started the new campaign where they left off and are sat in 6th place one point ahead of the Stones who remain in 8th just outside the play-off positions.

Stuart Maynard: "Recovery is so key when you go Saturday to Tuesday. The lads were straight in the ice baths and recovery sleeves after Saturday's win. The lads do their own active recoveries on Sunday and on Monday Rachel [Hill] does a Zoom session with them, which is brilliant as it gets the lads together again and flushes everything out of them which is so key about the recovery when you go from weekend to midweek.

"Me and Matty will research Solihull and come up with a game plan. They are a team we know a lot about and know that Neal Ardley has created a really good footballing team there and done an unbelievable job."

Solihull boss Neal Ardley: “The late point against Bromley is only good if we can take that positive into the next game. Wealdstone are a good side who have started the season well. It might be a surprise to some but not to them, they are very hard to beat, they're a good footballing side, they'll have a lot of the ball here and want to try and dominate possession against us."

TEAM NEWS Giovanni McGregor could make his Wealdstone debut on Tuesday evening after completing his suspension gained at his previous club Dulwich Hamlet. Max Kretzschmar may also be thrown back into the mix after missing Saturday's victory at Aldershot with a knock. Jordy Mongoy will miss the game after joining Farnborough on loan, apart from that Stones boss Stuart Maynard has a full squad to choose from.

Solihull's Scottish striker Andrew Dallas netted 23 goals last season forming a solid strike partnership with the imposing figure of Kyle Hudlin. His partner has since moved on to Huddersfield Town in the EFL but Dallas remains, and his goalscoring form has been unaffected with six goals so far this campaign from eleven games, forming a new partnership with Stockport County loanee Alex Reid.

The Mayor of Solihull is traditionally driven round in a Range Rover with the number plate 'Sol 1' to reflect the town's connection with the Jaguar Land Rover plant situated right next to where Solihull Moors play. Range Rover's are still manufactured in the Solihull plant to this day.
