WEALDSTONE FC will once again bid for glory in The National League Cup 2026/27, pitting their wits against Premier League 2 (PL2) teams across an initial schedule of four Group fixtures.
The Under-21 teams of Premier League Nottingham Forest and EFL Championship Wolverhampton Wanderers will once again visit The Vale - along with, this season, young players from Stoke City and Derby County, also of the Championship.
The competition's format sees 32 entrants in total, split into four groups of eight teams: four sides from the Enterprise National Leagues and four from PL2.
Each club plays four fixtures, with the National League teams hosting all of the PL2 opposition to make up the quartet of matches in their group.
The top two from each group of eight will progress through to the Quarter-Final knockout stages, with ties drawn out later in the season.
The Stones, placed in Group A, have now set dates for their matches at The Vale (all 7.00pm kick-offs):
+ Tuesday August 18 v Wolverhampton Wanderers
+ Tuesday September 8 v Stoke City
+ Tuesday October 20 v Nottingham Forest
+ Tuesday November 3 v Derby County

Group B is made up of Aldershot Town, Braintree Town, Hornchurch and Worthing alongside Fulham, Ipswich Town, Norwich City and last year's runners-up West Ham United.

Group D comprises Boston United, Sutton United, Truro City and Woking taking on Birmingham City, Leicester City, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion.
