LOAN NEWS | Sweeney flies in from O's

Wealdstone have signed quick and skilful 19-year old left-back Jayden Sweeney from EFL League Two side Leyton Orient on a month's loan.

Sweeney made his O's debut just days after his 17th birthday in a 4-0 FA Trophy win over Beaconsfield Town.

He has since gone onto make eleven more appearance for the O's in both the National League and League Two and has also spent time out on loan at Bishop's Stortford, where he made seven appearances before their season was curtailed by the pandemic.

Jayden will wear the number 26 shirt for the Stones and subject to all necessary approval will go straight into tomorrow's squad to face Wrexham.
