Tyler Walker

We are delighted to announce the signing of Lincoln City striker Tyler Walker, on loan until the end of the season.

Walker, 28, brings a wealth of EFL experience to his loan move at the Stones having consistently played, and scored goals, for a number of Championship, League One and League Two sides, including Nottingham Forest, Coventry City, Portsmouth and Bolton Wanderers. He has made 113 appearances in the Championship, 62 appearances in League One and 52 appearances in League Two as well as 4 caps and 2 goals for England U20s.

Tyler's most successful goalscoring season came during a loan move to Mansfield Town for the duration of the 2018/19 season, scoring 22 goals for the Stags in League Two, earning himself a place in the PFA Team of the Year.

The following season Tyler joined Lincoln City on loan for the season, with manager Danny Cowley stating that Tyler had "been on our wish list forever". It was a successful spell at The Imps, scoring 16 goals in 34 games before being recalled by his parent club Nottingham Forest on 30th January 2020.

August 2020 saw Tyler sign for Championship club Coventry City on a three year deal for an undisclosed fee, going on to make 72 appearances and score 12 goals during that period.

Tyler returned to Lincoln City in the summer of 2023 on a free transfer, signing a 2 year deal. He now joins the Stones and will wear the number 34 shirt and is available for selection for Saturday's huge National League clash at home to Eastleigh.
