WELCOME TO WEALDSTONE, ALFIE MASSEY

Wealdstone Football Club are thrilled to announce the signing of central midfielder Alfie Massey, who arrives at Grosvenor Vale on loan from Championship side Millwall, until early January!

The 19-year-old spent time in the academies of West Ham United and Arsenal as a youth before moving to the Lions.

He has featured regularly for Millwall’s youth teams, and was a key member of the side that defeated Chelsea to reach the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup in the 2023/24 campaign.

Last season, the Englishman began to break into the Lions’ first team. He was named in Millwall’s travelling squad for their preseason tour of Spain, and he thoroughly impressed on the continent.

This led to him being named on the bench for the first game of the Championship season before making his professional debut in the Carabao Cup and signing a new long-term contract a week later. Then Millwall manager Neil Harris said that he believes Massey will “flourish” in South London.

Massey made his home debut in an FA Cup match against Dagenham and Redbridge in January, and he has once again been involved with Millwall’s first team during preseason this year.
