Wealdstone make a return to Grosvenor Vale on Saturday for Vanarama National League action for the visit of newly promoted Ebbsfleet United.
This will be a special day down The Vale as its the club's first ever designated 'HerGameToo' fixture. This is a voluntary campaign which Wealdstone are delighted to support which aims to raise awareness and educate others on the importance of inclusivity and diversity in sport and tackle head on sexism in football. As a result we are delighted to offer all girls under-18 FREE admission to this game.
Ebbsfleet have made a flying start to their National League season sitting in 5th place, and confidence will be high following the 4-1 demolition of York City last time out.
Here is a quick matchday guide as to what to expect….
Turnstiles will open at 1:45pm and we kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for the 3:00pm kick off.
The match will be segregated with Ebbsfleet supporters allocated the MODU Stand for seating and the Hawthorne Terrace and SHOTS Stand for standing. Ebbsfleet fans must enter the stadium through the away turnstiles which are clearly signposted at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale.
The Vale Club within the Grosvenor Vale stadium complex will be open to both Wealdstone and Ebbsfleet supporters pre-match all of whom are invited to sample some of the fine beverages on sale all at competitive prices.
There are no restrictions on entry to The Vale but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The bar will be open from 12pm. Post-match the Vale will remain open however, for Wealdstone supporters only, with the Ukraine v England fixture due to kick off at 5pm with the Man of the Match award to be presented in the Main Hall at half time around 5:45pm.
A full food menu provided by our award-winning match day caterers DDs is available to all supporters and a wide range of options are offered.
Tickets will be available to purchase at the turnstiles for both Ebbsfleet and Wealdstone fans and both cash and credit cards are accepted. However, supporters are reminded that tickets can be purchased in advance for a discount.
We encourage all fans to purchase online in advance to minimise queuing time at the turnstile.
The award winning matchday programme will be available to purchase at the entrance to the Grosvenor Vale site and at various points outside the stadium and this edition includes a special club update from Wealdstone FC Chairman Rory Fitzgerald.
The KELME club shop will be open and fully stocked.
Car Parking & Public Transport
Ample parking is available at Grosvenor Vale for a fee of £5 and the car park will be open from 12pm. Access to the Grosvenor Vale Car Park for all vehicles will cease at 2:35pm with the entire area becoming pedestrianised to allow fans on foot to arrive safely to the stadium.
Fans planning to drive are reminded that Grosvenor Vale now sits within the newly expanded ULEZ zone.
We encourage all fans to travel to the game by public transport. Grosvenor Vale has great access to local railway and underground stations: Ruislip and Ruislip Manor are both on the Metropolitan Line and Piccadilly Line; whilst West Ruislip and Ruislip Gardens are on the Central Line. West Ruislip is also on the Chiltern Main line out of London Marylebone.
Ruislip station & Ruislip Manor are just over 5 minute walk away from Grosvenor Vale, while Ruislip Gardens is around a 10 minute walk.
