SUPPORTER INFO | Altrincham (H)

Wealdstone return to Vanarama National League action on Saturday hosting Altrincham. Following the impressive performance last week at home to Ebbsfleet United, the Stones will be looking to make it back-to-back wins and will be boosted by the return from international duty of midfield stars Ashley Charles and Alex Dyer.

Following significant summer investment, the Robins had a strong start to the season but recent defeats to Bromley and Barnet mean a win is essential to push them back into playoff contention.

Here is a quick matchday guide as to what to expect…

Turnstiles will open at 1.45pm and we kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for the 3.00pm kick off.

This match will be unsegregated although there is an away supporters designated zone in the first two sections of the MODU Stand for Altrincham supporters who would like to congregate together in the stadium. Entrance for all supporters will be via the main turnstiles which are at the main entrance to Grosvenor Vale.

The Vale Social Club within the Grosvenor Vale stadium complex will be open to both Wealdstone and Altrincham supporters pre-match all of whom are invited to sample some of the fine beverages on sale all at competitive prices. There are no restrictions on entry to The Vale but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The bar will be open from 12pm with the Wolverhampton Wanderers v Liverpool game to be shown live on the big screen. Post-match the Vale will remain open with the Man of the Match award to be presented in the Main Hall at around 5.15pm and Newcastle United v Brentford shown live on the TVs.

A full food menu provided by our award-winning match day caterers DDs is available to all supporters and a wide range of options are offered.

Following the success of the HerGameToo initiative last Saturday there will again be a family feel at the Stadium as we launch our “Tickets for Schools” community initiative for the 2023/24 season, and we will be welcoming 200 pupils and parents from Bishop Winnington-Ingram School, Sacred Heart School, both from Ruislip, and Holy Trinity in Northwood. The scheme is designed to engage youngsters with football and provides free tickets to local school children to come and see elite sport in action.

Tickets will be available to purchase at the turnstiles and online for both Wealdstone and Altrincham fans and both cash and credit cards are accepted. However…

A large attendance is expected so we encourage all fans to purchase online in advance where tickets are available for a discount and of course to minimise queuing time at the turnstile.

The award winning matchday programme will be available to purchase at the entrance to the Grosvenor Vale site and at various points outside the stadium, the Kelme Club Shop will be open and the long awaited new Supporters Club Shop will also be open.

Car Parking & Public Transport

Ample parking is available at Grosvenor Vale for a fee of £5 and the car park will be open from 12pm. Access to the Grosvenor Vale Car Park for all vehicles will cease at 2.35pm with the entire area becoming pedestrianised to allow fans on foot to arrive safely to the stadium.

Fans planning to drive are reminded that Grosvenor Vale sits within the newly expanded ULEZ zone.

Grosvenor Vale has great access to local railway and underground stations: Ruislip and Ruislip Manor are both on the Metropolitan Line and Piccadilly Line; whilst West Ruislip and Ruislip Gardens are on the Central Line. West Ruislip is also on the Chiltern Main line out of London Marylebone. Ruislip station & Ruislip Manor are just over 5 minute walk away from Grosvenor Vale, while Ruislip Gardens is around a 10 minute walk.

And last but not least we sincerely hope that both sets of fans enjoy the game!
