WEALDSTONE FC is delighted to be welcoming winger Michael Adu-Poku on a short-term loan from EFL Championship neighbours Watford.
A product of the Hertfordshire club's academy system, Adu-Poku made his Hornets' first-team debut in a January 2023 FA Cup tie at Reading aged just 17.
He enjoyed a couple of further Watford appearances - the most recent of which in February 2025 - but has had more first-team action during a series of three loan spells.
The first two of the trio came in last year's National League; initially at Solihull Moors between October 2024 and January 2025, then towards the end of the campaign at Rochdale.
He enjoyed further EFL match minutes earlier in the current 2025/26 term on loan at League Two Barrow, where he made played eight times in total - mainly from the subs' bench - between October and December, after overcoming a pre-season injury.
A fleet-footed wide operator, often deployed as an out-and-out winger or wide forward, the now 20-year-old Adu-Poku will be looking to add some serious Stones' game time to his still fledgling professional career.
Welcome, Michael!
