WATFORD'S Michael Adu-Poku has furthered his stay at Wealdstone until the end of this season.
The loan extension sees the pacey 20-year-old - who got his first Stones' start on Saturday at Forest Green Rovers - commit to the cause for the remainder of 2025/26.
"I'm pleased we've extended Michael's stay," said Stones' boss Gary Waddock.
"All young players take time to adjust to the level when they come from a bigger club where they've maybe had not many opportunities at senior level.
"He's a useful threat for us to have available to us," he added.
"Michael has National League experience from last year at Solihull and he played a bit of League Two earlier this season at Barrow, but new surroundings often take time to adapt to."
Adu-Poku has featured almost exclusively from the bench so far for the Stones, since his debut as a sub also at Forest Green - in the FA Trophy triumph at the end of January.
Cautioned Waddock: "It's for Michael to force his way into the team.
"He's getting great experience by being here; and it's now about building on what he's done so far and really stating his case to get more minutes."

JACK'S BACK
Additionally, last week the Stones were pleased to welcome back into their ranks midfielder Jack Wells-Morrison.
The former Crystal Palace playmaker, who featured in the royal blue of Wealdstone on loan from the Eagles during the first half of last season, had a short spell at Ross County earlier this campaign.
Wells-Morrison, 22, came on as a substitute in Saturday's league defeat away to Forest Green Rovers.
