SIGNED: Stones Extend Kit Partnership With Kelme

WEALDSTONE FC is delighted to confirm an extension to its current agreement with Kelme, extending the Technical Partnership relationship until at least summer 2029.

"To sign again with Kelme was a really straightforward decision for us as a club," commented chairman Rory Fitzgerald.

"That's primarily down to their personal touch when it comes to working together - something you're not always able to enjoy with others in this market."

The Stones helped Kelme - originally a Spanish brand - establish its business on UK shores by initially signing a partnership in Spring 2021, less than a year after the kit apparel manufacturer agreed terms with Watford FC.

Said James Lawrence, Kelme's UK Sales Manager: "The long-standing relationship with Wealdstone is one we're really proud of.

"For us, being able to extend terms on an arrangement as far as an eighth year means both parties are happy and that's testament to the great lines of communication we have with the club.

"We've grown a lot since our first entry into the UK market," added Lawrence.

"As well as Watford and Wealdstone in the higher tiers of the game, we're partnered with a number of other non-league clubs and also have a keen focus on the grassroots game and our teamwear offering."

An important element of the partnership is the direct-to-supporter replica kit and trainingwear offering managed directly by Kelme, allowing fan resource to be deployed in making leisurewear and other popular items available to form a wide-ranging choice for Stones' followers.

Fitzgerald noted: "It's easy to get drawn into conversations about making changes to your Technical partner without fully understanding what the day-to-day reality of the relationship will look like.

"For Wealdstone, Kelme is a great fit and we look forward to producing more creative ranges which appeal to our supporters and which our players are comfortable wearing."
