FANS: Introducing 'Target 2K' At The Vale

WHAT better time to declare a serious intent to grow our fanbase than with the new season's fixtures now upon us?

With fans everywhere having learned of their club's 2026/27 Enterprise National League schedule, Wealdstone FC is delighted to be launching 'Target 2k'; a consolidated club-wide push towards 2,000+ home supporters regularly at The Vale.

It might take us a while to get there - sure. But, with an exciting future at a new ground on the horizon, we know now's the time to make this big commitment. And we know that because, time and again, Stones' fans have stepped up to the plate and helped the club break new ground and challenge accepted norms.

There'll be more details in the days & weeks ahead of matchday initiatives which we hope will capture the imagination of both our loyal fanbase and those for whom Wealdstone is a second love, a passing interest and perhaps just an occasional dalliance right now.

We'll need long-serving Wealdstone supporters to get into the thick of the action, something they're never shy of, as we look to grow a new collective of 'first-generation Wealdstone fans'; supporters of all ages and backgrounds whose answer will be "Wealdstone" when asked "So who do you support?".

Our plans also recognise that, for some, EPL or EFL clubs represent a first footballing love. Well fine - but can Wealdstone be your regular 'second love' - somewhere that you look forward to going to when your bigger team fixture doesn't suit? We'd love that - and we know there's a good few who get down The Vale who are part of this number.

Who knows, they might one day give the same answer as our new first-generation fans above!

So keep an eye out as we start to designate each home matchday with a key focus.

We've come up with a few different types of matchday titles; nothing cringey - just a way of identifying what the big focus is for that particular game.

And, to measure our progress, the club commits to both publishing & announcing its home ticket sales figure - as part of the declared attendance total - at each Enterprise National League home game, so you can track how we're getting on.
