Wealdstone suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat at home to Yeovil Town, marking their third straight match without a victory.
Goals from Terrell Works and James Daly either side of half-time gifted the Glovers their second consecutive league win.
Gary Waddock made seven changes to his side that travelled to Forest Green Rovers last Saturday as Connor McAvoy, Junior Tiensia, Dylan Kadji, Dom Hutchinson, Sean Adarkwa and Mason Barrett came into the side and Jack Wells-Morrison returned to the lineup after rejoining the Stones on a short-term deal.
The Stones came out the traps with real intent as Hutchinson burst down the right and whipped in a pinpoint delivery to a waiting Wells-Morrison, who generated a thunderous strike, but his effort diverted out of play.
Minutes later, the visitors seized control as Daly dispossessed Barrett and drove a low effort goalward, forcing Baptiste into a sharp diving save to keep him out.
On the 15-minute mark, Yeovil threatened once more as Josh Sims flashed past Boldewijn on the right side of the box and trickled a shot just beyond Baptiste’s left post.
Moments later, the Glovers had another sight of goal after Brett McGavin’s corner found the back of Wealdstone’s net, but the referee ruled it out for a foul on Baptiste.
As the clock ticked towards 30 minutes, Rowley’s side launched another attack as Works burst down the left side before slipping a pass to Daly, whose attempted dink over Baptiste was well stopped by the Stones keeper.
As half-time loomed, the visitors broke the deadlock as Ryan Jones sparked a swift counterattack, sliding the ball into Works, who cut onto his left foot and drilled a precise finish into the bottom right corner to give the Glovers the lead at the break.
Following the interval, the visitors continued in the same attacking vein as Daly pounced on a clever pass from Sims and slotted the ball through the legs of Baptiste to extend Yeovil’s lead.
A minute later, the Stones were handed a lifeline as Yeovil were reduced to 10 men, with Troy Perrett being shown a straight red card for a late challenge on McAvoy.
Searching for an equaliser, Hutchinson skinned his man on the right wing and found Fela Olomola inside the box, whose attempted shot drifted out of play.
In a bid to get back into the game, Waddock made a quadruple change that saw Jack Cook, Terrell Agyemang, Shay Spencer and Micah Obiero take the field.
On the 70-minute mark, the Stones continued in attacking pursuit with Kadji’s looping free kick finding Cook at the back post, but his shot was mistimed and scuffed wide of Ward’s post.
After a quiet spell with few clear-cut chances, Agyemang showed neat footwork to create space on the left edge of the box, but his attempt deflected off Jake Wannell and trickled inches wide of Ward’s right post.
As full-time approached, Daly raced through on goal and rounded Baptiste, but Boldewijn produced a crucial sliding challenge to confirm a 2-0 victory for the Glovers.
