READ: Dennon Lewis & Michee Efete react to signing new deals!

We spoke to Dennon Lewis and Michee Efete after they both signed new two-year contracts with the club, which were announced on Thursday.

Lewis on signing his new deal: “It’s great to be back and to be here with Michee and [Jacob] Mendy too after his signed a deal earlier this summer.

“There’s a lot of boys here that are pushing to go higher in the leagues, so hopefully we can go and push again next season.

“The plan for next season is just to get as many goals as I can. I thought I had a good year last season and the team really helped me to do better so hopefully we can do that again in the National League this upcoming season.”

Efete on returning to play National League football next year: “I’m really happy to have signed a two-year deal to be back at the club and back playing at this level again.

“It’s just all about kicking on now and getting ready for the new season, hopefully we can look to go for promotion again like I said last year and just go from there.

“The goal for me is to match or better my goal tally from last season. I scored eight goals last season so I’ll be looking for at least eight or more again this season, as many assists and clean sheets as possible so hopefully we can get as high up the table as we can.”
