WHAT WAS SAID?

Dean Brennan: “It’s going to be a tough game. Chesterfield are a big, physical and well-drilled side, there’s no kids in their team, they are all very experienced players. Chesterfield are expected to be finishing at the top end of this division so this type of game is a free hit for us.”

John Pemberton: “Wealdstone had a good result against Wrexham last weekend and are on a high because of what they achieved last season. It’s a tough game not just for us, but most teams that have to go there which Wrexham found out last Saturday.”

WHO TO WATCH FOR

Scott Boden: 30-year-old striker Boden was sent off in Chesterfield’s first game of the season at Hartlepool and will be available following a three-game suspension. Chesterfield’s joint top goalscorer in the National League last season, the experienced frontman will be keen to lead the line for the Spireites in his eighth season at the club.
