THE CONTEXT Where to begin with context for this fixture? Wealdstone fans will be given their first opportunity to welcome local rivals Barnet since the Prince Edward Playing Fields saga that unfolded at the beginning of this century. Then you have the story on the sidelines, with Stones former manager Dean Brennan in the opposing dugout as he takes caretaker charge of the Bees; Stones current boss Stuart Maynard was Brennan's assistant for many years at Hemel Hempstead Town, Billericay Town and Kingstonian before they both went onto win the National League South title with Wealdstone in 2020. And then there's all the hallmarks of a traditional derby as both North West London sides regularly faced each other many moons ago.

TEAM NEWS Stones now have no long-term absentees following a two-week lay off. Connor Stevens, Rhys Browne, Alex Dyer, Charlie Cooper and Medy Elito all missed the last game but a fortnight without competitive football has allowed all five to near a return to action. Zach Dronfield also picked up an ankle injury in the win over Grimsby but also hopes to make a swift return. Dennon Lewis left the club this week after he was sold to Boreham Wood for an undisclosed fee, he was quickly replaced by left-sided player Jamie Mascoll who was formerly at Bolton Wanderers.

WHAT WAS SAID? Stuart Maynard: "We've had a couple of weeks to prepare and we've told the players what it means to the fans. The lads have been great this season and have left everything on the pitch. We want them to do the same again on Saturday and give the fans something to be proud of. I know they will give everything." FORM GUIDE Stones: Grimsby Town (H) 1-0 W (Buse) Weymouth (A) 1-1 D (McAvoy) Dagenham & Redbridge (H) 1-2 L (Bird) Eastleigh (H) 1-2 L (Umerah) Solihull Moors (H) 0-0 D

Barnet: Aldershot Town (H) 2-1 W (Flanagan, Hall) Stockport County (A) 1-2 W (Widdowson, Greenidge) Wrexham (H) 0-3 L

Boreham Wood (H) 0-1 L

Dover Athletic (A) 1-2 W (Bloomfield, Powell)

WHO TO WATCH FOR? Joe Widdowson: Widdowson was a summer signing for the Bees after departing Leyton Orient in League Two. The 32-year old full-back has a wealth of EFL experience playing at Grimsby Town, Rochdale, Northampton Town, Bury, Morecambe and Dagenham & Redbridge and has also won the National League whilst at the O's. The attacking full-back epitomises boss Brennan's style of football and already has three goals to his name after nine games this season. He will pose a key threat for the Stones players in the opposite area.

ARMISTICE DAY

We will be commemorating Armistice Day for this fixture. Delegates from both Wealdstone Football Club and Barnet Football Club will join Andy Gibbs and Simon Brown in laying a wreath before kick off. They will be joined by bugler Jane Anderson who will sound the last post before kick off and a minutes silence.

We asked that fans get in the stadium ten minutes before kick off so we can all commemorate and respect those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to allow us the freedoms we enjoy in our country today. There will also be a collection for the Royal British Legion in and around the ground on matchday.
