LOAN UPDATE | Barker, Freckleton and Baptiste deals all extended
The defensive duo of Charlie Barker and Miguel Freckleton have had their loan deals extended by Wealdstone until the end of the season.
Barker returned to the Stones for a second loan spell in October 2022 after making three appearances last season whilst on loan from his parent club Charlton Athletic.
He's made seven appearance so far for the Stones this time out, having spent the first part of his season on loan at Hemel Hempstead Town.
Freckleton also extends his deal with the club until the end of the season. Like Barker, the Sheffield United defender has also made seven appearances since joining on loan from the Blades in November 2022, scoring once in the 2-1 away win at York City.
Both defenders have well established themselves into the first team mix since coming to The Vale and we thank their parent clubs for their continued co-operation, and look forward to seeing both players at the club a little while longer.
Meanwhile, Stones keeper Dante Baptiste has had his loan at Potters Bar Town extended for a further month until the end of January.
The former Watford youth keeper has made a solitary appearance for the Stones in the Middlesex Senior Cup, and has also gained first team experience out on loan at both Potters Bar and Hendon so far this season.
