LOAN NEWS | McAvoy extends stay

Wealdstone are delighted to announce that defender Connor McAvoy has extended his loan deal with the club until the end of the season.

The 19-year old defender joined the Stones in October on loan from EFL Championship club Fulham and was an instant hit with fans, scoring on his debut away against Weymouth.

Connor's performances at the back have also been very assuring to Stones fans, most memorably a crucial last-ditch tackle to prevent the Stones from trailing in the local derby victory over Barnet in November.

We thank Fulham for their continued support, where we also have George Wickens on loan from, and we look to continue to nurture the development of these two very talented players.
