LOAN NEWS | Henry extends for the season

Wealdstone FC are delighted to announce that Charlton Athletic midfielder Aaron Henry has had his loan extended until the end of the season.

The midfielder has started five times for the Stones since joining from the League One club last month, including playing a pivotal part in the 3-1 derby day win against Barnet.

Speaking on his extension the midfielder said: "The month I've been here so far I've really enjoyed it. The gaffer has been amazing to me so have all the staff and players.

"For me it's a no brainer to get another 15 or so games in this league under my belt, so I'm just going to use this as a platform to get as many games as possible and hopefully some good results too."

Stones boss Stuart Maynard added: "Aaron is only 18 years old but is a player that has a really bright future ahead of him."

"He's been excellent since joining and he is here to learn on the job. Days like yesterday at Eastleigh are the games they will really learn from, he's shown flashes of brilliance since coming here and we're really pleased to have him for the rest of the season."
