Jonathan North Testimonial - Sun 8 Aug

Join us on Sunday 8th August for Jonathan North's Testimonial Match where a team of Wealdstone Legends will face a team of Watford Legends. The game kicks off at 1pm at our Grosvenor Vale stadium.

Ticket prices have been confirmed as £5 Adults and £2 U16s, these can either be purchased on the turnstile on the day or alternatively you can buy them online HERE right now.

Northy made 393 appearances for the Stones in his ten year stay with the club, joining from Watford back in 2010 and being an integral part of Gordon Bartlett's 2013/14 Isthmian Premier League winning side.

He has been a key player in the Stones' resurgence back up the pyramid into the National League and left shortly before promotion to the top non-league division in 2020.

Including Jonathan North, the team of Wealdstone legends will include seven members of the 2013/14 Isthmian Premier League winning squad and four members of the 2019/20 National League South winning squad, including current Stones skipper Jerome Okimo.

The Watford Legends side will be headed up by Lloyd Doyley and Tommy Smith who both won promotion to and played in the Premier League with the Hornets, making a combined total of 750 appearances between them for Watford.

The original testimonial plans had to be put on hold due to the 2019 outbreak of Coronavirus but we are happy to finally arrange his well-deserved and well-earned testimonial match.

Plans for the day include a prize raffle and football card draw. Raffle tickets will cost £2 for a strip of £5 for three strips, with a football card entry at £10 per square.

The football card prize is a choice of matchday hospitality for two at either a selected 2021/22 Watford Premier League match at Vicarage Road or matchday hospitality for two at a selected 2021/22 Wealdstone home National League game.

Raffle prizes include a fully signed 2016/17 Watford Premier League shirt and a fully signed Wealdstone FC shirt by both teams on the day. We are still on the lookout for more prizes and will appreciate any donations made by supporters, please bring with you and contact Paul Franklin on the day.
