Executive Board Changes – Announcement

The Executive Board of Wealdstone FC has today announced a change to its structure following the decision of current Vice-Chairman Nick Archer to step down as a Director of the club.

Executive Director Rory Fitzgerald will replace Nick as Vice-Chairman with specific responsibility for football matters and ground development.

Chairman of Wealdstone FC, Peter Marsden said: “We are sorry that Nick has decided to step down as a Director of the club. We would like to thank him for his unstinting work at Wealdstone over the last year and I have been particularly grateful for his personal support to me since my appointment as Chairman. He is a great football man has been a real rock during some challenging times and we wish him all the very best. Rory will be an extremely able Vice-Chairman and I know that he will do a great job in the role.”

Rory Fitzgerald said: “We are embarking on new and exciting times as we drive forward together to meet the many challenges at this level of football and I am very much looking forward to working towards achieving our progressive aims and ambitions for Wealdstone FC.”
