Charles sold to Bromley

Wealdstone Football Club today confirms that midfielder Ashley Charles has completed a transfer to Bromley Football Club for an undisclosed fee. This move comes following Bromley's activation of the release clause in Charles' contract.

Ashley Charles, a significant figure in Wealdstone's squad since his arrival from Watford in 2019, has made an important contribution to the club, with 141 appearances and two goals in his time here. His was pivotal in the club's triumphant National League South title campaign, where he established himself as a linchpin in the midfield.

Wealdstone Football Club had hoped to continue its journey with Ashley; however, it became apparent that he would not be extending his contract beyond the summer. Considering this and Bromley's approach, we had no option but to agree to the transfer, respecting the terms of his contract.
