WELCOME TO WEALDSTONE, JUNIOR TIENSIA

We are delighted to welcome former Barrow AFC defender Junior Tiensia to Wealdstone on a permanent deal!

Junior is a versatile, left-sided defender with dynamic and physical attributes, who began his career in the youth ranks of Millwall. The 24-year-old was quick to gain first-team experience, going out on loan to Havant & Waterlooville at just 19 years-old, making five appearances.

The defender has a healthy pedigree of National League experience, with loan moves at Sutton United and Dover Athletic following his stint with the Hawks.

Upon his departure from the Lions, Junior joined National League North side Gloucester City on a permanent deal at the start of the 2022/23 season. He'd go on to make 26 appearances, playing a crucial role in their campaign, before joining National League side Solihull Moors in March of the same season.

Seven appearances for the Moors later, Junior would make the deserved step up to the EFL, joining League Two side Barrow at the start of the 2023/24 season, where he would make 17 appearances for the Bluebirds before the expiry of his contract this summer.
