WELCOME TO WEALDSTONE, DANIEL NKRUMAH

Wealdstone Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of 21-year-old forward Daniel Nkrumah on a permanent basis.

The diminutive attacker came through the youth ranks at Leyton Orient, joining the club as a child and progressing through to their first team.

He made his senior debut for the O’s in the EFL Trophy during the 2021/22 season before making his league debut in the following days.

After seven appearances for Orient during the 21/22 season, he joined Welling United on two separate loan spells throughout the following campaign. Nkrumah made 10 league appearances and scored two goals for the National League South side.

The summer of 2023 saw the youngster join Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee. At the back end of the season, he joined Dagenham and Redbridge on loan, making four appearances for the Daggers.

Last season, Nkrumah spent the final weeks of the campaign on loan at promotion-challengers Halifax Town. He made seven appearances for the Shaymen, including one in their playoff eliminator against Oldham Athletic.
