Wealdstone supports ongoing Love Football. Protect the Game campaign.

Club Staff

Wealdstone continues to support the FA, Premier League, EFL, and the Football Supporters Association in making football a safer and more welcoming environment, by cracking down on dangerous behaviour that can put fans, players, staff and match officials at risk. We ask, with the campaign of Love Football. Protect the Game very much in mind, our supporters to come together to show that those who commit these illegal acts do not represent the majority of supporters.

We, as a club at the heart of the community, want to help the governing bodies make football a safer and more welcoming environment, by cracking down on dangerous behaviour that can put fans, players, staff and match officials at risk. We ask our supporters to come together to show that those who commit these illegal acts do not represent the majority of supporters.

"Apart from one isolated incident supporters behaviour this season has been exemplary," said Stones Chairman Rory Fitzgerald. "The incident was highlighted by the Club at the time and we were pleased to see all fans respond in a positive manner.

"Dangerous and illegal behaviour should not be part of the matchday experience, we are proud to be a family Club and proud of the way our fans conduct themselves, home and away, so I would ask for your unequivocal support, behaviour of this nature has no place in football or in general.

As we head towards Christmas and the second half of the season we feel its an appropriate time to re-affirm that message and the Club stands side-by-side with the F.A, Premier League, the EFL and the NL and remind fans of the measures and stronger sanctions now in place.

We ask our supporters to come together to show that those who commit these illegal acts have no place at Wealdstone."
