Update on Ground improvements
It’s been a busy Summer at Grosvenor Vale as the club prepares for its return to the top flight of non-league after 32 years away. A large amount of time and money has been spent improving the facilities ahead of an exciting season ahead.
As well as needing to meet the ground grading criteria for the National League we have also target works which will hopefully improve the supporter experience, especially when we have larger crowds.
The works undertaken include;
THREE new toilet blocks including a disabled toilet.
Floodlight upgrade to meet requirements for BT sport coverage.
2 additional terrace areas and extra paved areas
3 double sets of safety segregation gates to allow flexible crowd segregation depending on the number of visiting fans
A new double turnstile block
New Kit Room and Extension to existing changing rooms to meet National League Requirements.
Construction of New Male & Female Match Officials changing and shower rooms.
New Security Segregation Fencing
A new stewards room / spectators first aid room and tea bar.
A new physio room, management room and PA room.
Redecoration of Ruislip Social Club and work has commenced on an outside bar facility.
Following this work and subject to pending safety approval our capacity will increase from 3,432 towards the required 4,000 minimum capacity with some additional capacity works will be required to meet the National League criteria.
The club thanks everyone who has contributed to these works in any way and we look forward to welcoming spectators into the ground as soon as we’re allowed.
This work has obviously has obviously required a significant level of expenditure and we will be running a number of fundraising activities later this month to ensure these works don’t impact the playing budget and affect our prospects of being competitive next season. Please support these where you can.
