SUPPORTER INFO | Oxford City (H)
Wealdstone return to Vanarama National League action on Tuesday evening hosting newly-promoted Oxford City at Grosvenor Vale.
Here is a quick matchday guide as to what to expect….
Match Sponsors
We welcome match sponsors The Bugler Group to Tuesday night's game and hope they enjoy the Grosvenor Vale hospitality as well as what's sure to be another entertaining game.
Turnstiles
Turnstiles will open at 6.45pm and we kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for the 7.45pm kick off.
This match will be unsegregated although there will be an away supporters designated zone in the first two sections of the MODU Stand for Oxford City supporters who wish to congregate together in the stadium.
Stewards will direct Oxford City supporters to the designated area when entering the stadium. Entrance to the stadium for all supporters will be via the main turnstiles which are at the main entrance to Grosvenor Vale
Clubhouse
The Vale Social Club within the Grosvenor Vale stadium complex will be open to both Wealdstone and Oxford supporters pre-match, all of whom are invited to sample some of the fine beverages on sale all at competitive prices. The Club will be open from 5pm.
Food & Refreshments
A full food menu provided by our award-winning match day caterers DDs is available to all supporters and a wide range of options are offered.
Tickets
Tickets will be available to purchase at the turnstiles and both cash and credit cards are accepted.
Supporters are reminded that we're running a special ticket offer for the game, where U19s can purchase a ticket for just £5 when you buy online. We thank Pukka Pies for sponsoring the initiative for this game during the school half term.
We encourage all fans to purchase online in advance where tickets can be purchased for a discount and to minimise queuing time at the stadium.
Matchday Programme & Club Shops
The award winning matchday programme will be available to purchase at the entrance to the Grosvenor Vale site and at various points outside the stadium, both the Kelme Club Shop and the new Supporters' Club Megastore will be fully stocked and open pre-match and at half time.
Minutes silence
There will be a minutes silence before kick off as clubs across the country pay their respects to England's World Cup winning hero Sir Bobby Charlton who sadly passed away on Saturday evening, both sides will also be wearing black armbands in remembrance of the Manchester United legend.
Car Parking & Public Transport
The Field Car Park at Grosvenor Vale is now closed for the winter and therefore parking will be street only or at various public car parks nearby. We encourage all fans to travel to the game by public transport.
Grosvenor Vale has great access to local railway and underground stations: Ruislip and Ruislip Manor are both on the Metropolitan Line and Piccadilly Line; whilst West Ruislip
and Ruislip Gardens are on the Central Line. West Ruislip is also on the Chiltern Main line out of London Marylebone. Ruislip station & Ruislip Manor are just over 5 minute walk away from Grosvenor Vale, while Ruislip Gardens is around a 10 minute walk.
Access to the main car park at the Grosvenor Vale Stadium is limited to Wealdstone players and officials only. Any vehicle attempting to gain access to the main stadium car park who has not had prior authorisation by the clubs General Manager will be turned away.
Access to Grosvenor Vale for any vehicle will cease at 7.15pm with the entire area becoming pedestrianised to allow fans on foot to arrive safely to the stadium.
And last but not least, we sincerely hope that both sets of fans enjoy the game!
