SUPPORTER INFO | Dagenham & Redbridge (H)
Wealdstone are back in action at Grosvenor Vale on Saturday as Dagenham & Redbridge make the short journey across London. Both teams sit just outside the play-off places and a victory could push either team up to sixth, so an exciting encounter is expected.
Here is a quick matchday guide as to what to expect….
Stadium information
Turnstiles will open at 1:45PM and we kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for the 3PM Kick Off.
A large contingent of Dagenham fans are expected so this match will be segregated with Dagenham supporters allocated the MODU Stand for seating and the Shots Stand for standing at the Gun Turret End of the ground. Dagenham supporters must use the away turnstiles which are clearly signposted at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale.
Food & Refreshments
The Vale Social Club within the Grosvenor Vale Stadium Complex will be open to Wealdstone supporters only all of whom are invited to sample some of the fine beverages on sale.
For Wealdstone fans there are no restrictions on entry to The Vale but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The bar will be open from 12PM (midday) with football shown live on the big screen. Post-match the Vale will remain open to Wealdstone supporters only with the Man of the Match award to be presented in the Main Hall at around 5:15PM and more live football on the TVs.
A full food menu provided by our award-winning match day caterers DD's is available to all supporters and a wide range of options are offered. You can find the menu below:
Tickets
Tickets will be available to purchase at the turnstiles for both Wealdstone and Dagenham fans and both cash and credit cards are accepted. However, a large attendance is expected so we encourage all fans to purchase online in advance to minimise queuing time at the turnstile.
Wealdstone Tickets for Schools
There will be a family feel at the Stadium as we welcome over 200 pupils and parents from Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School in Ruislip. Sacred Heart is the first local school to benefit from the clubs new “schools initiative” which is designed to engage youngsters with football and provides free tickets to local school children to come and see elite sport in action.
Programme
The award winning matchday programme will be available to purchase at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale site and at various points outside the stadium and the club shop will be open.
Car Parking & Public Transport Update
Parking is street only or at various public car parks nearby, we encourage all fans to travel to the game by public transport.
There will be no service on the Metropolitan line this weekend with the entire line suspended and a Bus Replacement Service is in operation so please allow extra time if that is your preferred route.
A normal tube service is expected on the Piccadilly line where Ruislip Manor and Ruislip are the closest stations to Grosvenor Vale and also on the Central line where Ruislip Gardens is only a short walk away.
Access to parking at the stadium is limited to Wealdstone players and officials only. Any vehicle attempting to gain access to the stadium who has not had prior authorisation by the clubs General Manager will be turned away. There is also no access or parking for supporter coaches.
Access to Grosvenor Vale for all vehicles will cease at 2:30PM with the entire area becoming pedestrianised to allow fans on foot to arrive safely to the stadium.
And last but not least We sincerely hope that both sets of fans enjoy the game!
