SUPPORTER INFO | Boreham Wood (H) 5:30pm kick off
Wealdstone return to Vanarama National League action on Saturday hosting local rivals Boreham Wood at Grosvenor Vale in a match which will be shown live across the nation on TNT Sports at 5:30pm.
Here is a quick matchday guide as to what to expect….
Turnstiles
Turnstiles will open at 4.30pm and we kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for the 5.30pm kick off.
Segregation
The match will be segregated with Boreham Wood supporters allocated the MODU Stand for seating and the Hawthorne Terrace & Shots Stand for standing. Boreham Wood fans must enter the stadium through the away turnstiles which are clearly signposted at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale.
We encourage all fans to purchase tickets in advance but any Boreham Wood supporters who wish to purchase a ticket at the ground should purchase one at the ticket box at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale where cash and cards are accepted.
Clubhouse
The Vale Social Club within the Grosvenor Vale stadium complex will be open to both Wealdstone and Boreham Wood supporters pre match, all of whom are invited to sample some of the fine beverages on sale all at competitive prices.
The Club will be open from 12 noon with the Merseyside Derby Premier League fixture between Liverpool and Everton being shown live on the big screens at 12.30pm.
Post-match The Vale will remain open for Wealdstone supporters only with the Man of the Match award being presented and the Rugby World Cup semi-final between England and South Africa also on the box, being shown live at 8pm.
Special offers
There will be a family feel at the Stadium as we continue our “Tickets for Schools” initiative. We will be welcoming 250 pupils and parents from Grimsdyke School, Lady Banks and Sacred Heart.
The scheme is designed to engage youngers with football and provides free tickets to local school children to come and see elite sport in action and we thank Pukka Pies for sponsoring the initiative for the Boreham Wood game.
We're offering a special ticket offer for Saturday's game, season ticket holders can claim a FREE ticket for a friend if they email tickets@wealdstonefc.com, we remind supporters that the free ticket must be claimed by 11.59pm on Friday evening.
Food & Refreshments
A full food menu provided by our award-winning match day caterers DDs is available to all supporters and a wide range of options are offered.
Tickets
Tickets will be available to purchase at the turnstiles for Wealdstone fans and both cash and credit cards are accepted.
We encourage all fans to purchase online in advance where tickets can be purchased for a discount and to minimise queuing time at the stadium.
Matchday Programme & Club Shops
The award winning matchday programme will be available to purchase at the entrance to the Grosvenor Vale site and at various points outside the stadium, both the Kelme Club Shop and the new Supporters Club Megastore will be fully stocked and open pre match and at half time.
Car Parking & Public Transport
With a large amount of rain expected over the next 48 hours we anticipate that the field car park at Grosvenor Vale will be closed and therefore parking will be street only or at various public car parks nearby. We encourage all fans to travel to the game by public transport. A final announcement on the status of the field car park will be made on Saturday morning.
Grosvenor Vale has great access to local railway and underground stations: Ruislip and Ruislip Manor are both on the Metropolitan Line and Piccadilly Line; whilst West Ruislip and Ruislip Gardens are on the Central Line. West Ruislip is also on the Chiltern Main line out of London Marylebone. Ruislip station & Ruislip Manor are just over 5 minute walk away from Grosvenor Vale, while Ruislip Gardens is around a 10 minute walk.
Access to the main car park at the Grosvenor Vale stadium is limited to Wealdstone players and officials only. Any vehicle attempting to gain access to the main stadium car park who has not had prior authorisation by the clubs General Manager will be turned away.
Access to Grosvenor Vale for any vehicle will cease at 5.00pm with the entire area becoming pedestrianised to allow fans on foot to arrive safely to the stadium.
We also remind supporters that Grosvenor Vale sits inside the recently expanded ULEZ zone in London and to check if your car is compliant via the TfL website.
And last but not least, we sincerely hope that both sets of fans enjoy the game!
