Stones to host Billericay on 18th July

The club have added another pre-season friendly to the summer 2023 schedule with Isthmian Premier Division side Billericay Town visiting Grosvenor Vale on Tuesday 18th July in a 7:45pm kick off.

The two sides met last pre-season when the Stones ran out 5-1 winners at Billericay's New Lodge with Malachi Napa, Olufela Olomola, Tarryn Allarakhia, Nathan Ferguson and Max Kretzschmar scorers that summer evening.

Since then, the hotseat at the Blues has shifted to former Hendon boss Gary McCann who has since added scorer last season Napa to his side following his release by the Stones in May. There are familiar faces in Stones National League South champion Moses Emmanuel as well, and former loaned defender Aron Pollock.

Tickets are now available for the fixture online as well as available via cash or card at the turnstiles, prices are below:

£8 Adults

£4 Concessions

£3 U18s

After two games, the Stones have a 100% record in pre-season, beating Bracknell Town 3-2 at Rayners Lane last Saturday, and then beating League Two club MK Dons at The Vale 2-1 on Tuesday evening.

Meanwhile, the visitors have started life under McCann with a 3-1 win over tenants Hutton, a 0-0 draw with League One side Leyton Orient and a 3-1 defeat at home to Aveley.
