Stones sign keeper Moore

Wealdstone have signed former Milton Keynes Dons goalkeeper Stuart Moore on a free transfer.

The 26-year old stopper has been without a club since June following his release from the SkyBet League One side where he made a total of 15 appearances in his two seasons there.

Born in the Isle of Wight and younger brother of Sheffield United keeper Simon, Moore began his professional career at Reading, where he spent six years, also spending time out on loan at Hungerford Town, Bashley, Gloucester City, Bath City, Basingstoke Town, Peterborough United and Luton Town.

He joined then National League side Barrow in 2017 where he spent six months before moving to Swindon Town in the league above.

We welcome Stuart to the Stones and he goes straight into tonight's side to face National League leaders Torquay United.
