Stones launch search for a CEO

Wealdstone Football Club is delighted to announce the launch of its search for the club's new CEO.

This is a landmark appointment in the club's history and comes at an exciting time for Wealdstone as we pursue our long term ambition of building a sustainable football club who could reach the Football League.

Following significant new investment, our recent appearance at Wembley Stadium in the Isuzu FA Trophy Final, the securing of a new lease at Grosvenor Vale and plans for a future new stadium, the club is entering a transformative period of growth both on and off the pitch.

The successful candidate will lead all commercial, operational, financial and strategic aspects of the club, working closely with ownership and the Board to help shape the next chapter of Wealdstone FC's journey.

We are seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial leader who can drive revenue growth, strengthen operations, enhance supporter engagement and help position Wealdstone as one of the most progressive clubs outside the Football League.

This role represents one of the most exciting CEO development opportunities in English football and is ideal for a senior football executive ready to take full responsibility for leading a football club for the first time.

The full job description can be viewed below.

Applications and enquiries should be submitted to secretary@wealdstonefc.com

Chief Executive Officer

Wealdstone Football Club

One of the best CEO development opportunities in English football.

The opportunity

Wealdstone FC is seeking an ambitious, high-potential executive to lead the Club through its next phase of growth.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead all commercial, operational, financial, and strategic aspects of the Club, while working closely with ownership and the Board to build one of the most progressive and sustainable clubs in English football.

This is a hands-on leadership role with genuine responsibility, autonomy, and visibility.

The CEO will be accountable for growing revenues, strengthening operations, enhancing supporter engagement, maximising stadium utilisation and delivering the Club's long-term strategic objectives.

Why Wealdstone

Founded in 1899, Wealdstone FC is one of English football's great historic non-league clubs. Today, we stand at the beginning of what could become the most exciting chapter in our history.

Following significant new investment, a recent appearance at Wembley Stadium in the FA Trophy Final and plans for a new purpose built stadium, Wealdstone is embarking on a transformation that extends far beyond football. We are building a modern, sustainable club capable of competing at a higher level and becoming a permanent fixture within the Football League.

Our ambition is clear: to create the next London based EFL club.

This is a rare opportunity to join a club with a proud heritage, a passionate supporter base, ambitious ownership and a genuine growth trajectory. Few roles in English football offer the chance to shape an organisation at this stage of its journey - leading commercial growth, driving operational excellence, helping deliver a new stadium and playing a pivotal role in taking a historic club into the Football League.
