ree

Wealdstone will face Whitstable Town in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round Qualifying at Grosvenor Vale.

The Oysterman currently sit 10th in the Southern Counties East Football League and have already won six games on their route to the Fourth Round Qualifying.

The upcoming Fourth Round Qualifying fixture will take place on Saturday 11th October, subject to TV schedule picks.

Last season, the Stones finally broke their unlucky streak in England’s most prestigious cup competition.

A 4-1 victory against Gosport Borough saw Wealdstone progress to the First Round proper, setting up an underdog battle against League Two side Grimsby Town.

Alex Reid’s last minute winner at Blundell Park sent the Stones through to the Second Round, where on a record attendance day at Grosvenor Vale, the Stones battled against Wycombe Wanderers on ITV.

Previously, the Stones had failed to progress from the Fourth Round Qualifying since the 2015/16 season and hadn’t reached the Second Round since they faced Colchester United in 1983.
