Smith extends Stones stay

On-loan full-back Kyle Smith has agreed to extend his loan deal at the club until January after his original deal was due to expire this week.

The 19-year old Millwall defender made his senior debut for the Stones in a 0-0 draw with Altrincham, earning himself the man of the match award that day.

Weeks later he scored his first senior goal in the Stones 3-2 defeat to league leaders Chesterfield.

With seven appearances already under his belt we look forward to seeing Kyle make many more and we thank Millwall for their co-operation in facilitating this extension.
