We welcome Sutton United to The Vale this Saturday (20 Oct) for an Emirates 4th Qualifying Round FA Cup tie, kick off 15:00.

Our visitors are presently sitting in 9th place in the National League on 26 points from their 15 games played having won 7, drawn 5 and lost 3 scoring 20 and conceding 17 goals. We have faced our opponents many times over the years in League action but only once in the FA Cup, on the 30 October 1982 at Lower Mead where the Stones won through 3-1 courtesy of goals from Mark Graves, Neil Cordice and Alan Cordice in front of a crowd of 1,142.

The Stones management team and squad will be well prepared for what is likely to the toughest game so far this season as both sides look to pick-up the £25,000 prize money pot and a place in the 1st Round proper to be played over the weekend 10/11 November. As ever get behind the lads from the off, make plenty of noise and offer support for the 90+ minutes as we look to progress in the World’s best Club Cup competition.
