THE CONTEXT
Wealdstone fans make the journey up the M40 on Tuesday evening for Solihull Moors' exciting 'honesty' fixture which has free admission but allows fans to make an optional fair donation to the Solihull Moors Foundation upon entry. In terms of the football, the hosts sit in the play-off places and are coming into the game off the back of a heroic 3-2 victory away to title-chasing Chesterfield, whilst the Stones came agonisingly close to beating Wrexham, leading 1-0 in the 88th minute only to lose 2-1 in heartbreaking and controversial late circumstances.
TEAM NEWS
Nikola Tavares and Ira Jackson Jr both missed Saturday's defeat to Wrexham although their injuries are not long-term and they could both return as early as Tuesday night. Jack Cook will serve a one-match ban after picking up a second yellow card late on in Saturday's game. Andrew Eleftheriou is out and Matt Buse is a doubt.
WHAT WAS SAID?
Stuart Maynard: "We'll have to look and see who we've got available come Monday with Cook's suspension and knocks and stuff like that. Me and Matty [Saunders] will go away and research them properly as we only approach each game at a time and then have a look to see what direction we go in for Tuesday. We know they're a top team that has top players, they've got [Andrew] Dallas who's on fire at the minute. They're a brilliant team and that's why they're in the play-off positions, they've got a top manager who is doing a great job there but we're looking forward to testing ourselves once again."
