THE CONTEXT

It's 18th vs 19th at Grosvenor Vale as Wealdstone bid to do the double over Maidenhead United after an impressive 2-0 win at York Road last month. This league fixture has been postponed twice so far this season but should finally go ahead tomorrow evening with the visitors suffering with some indifferent form. The Magpies picked up an impressive 2-1 win over in-form Southend United recently but have since picked up disappointing defeats to both Barnet and Solihull Moors. The Stones will be looking to get over Saturday's 2-0 defeat to FC Halifax Town that saw them slip to 18th.

TEAM NEWS

Charlie Cooper and Medy Elito both missed Saturday's trip to FC Halifax Town on the weekend with injuries but could both be back tomorrow evening. Nikola Tavares picked up a slight knock in Saturday's game but should still be available, whilst Andrew Eleftheriou remains out.

WHAT WAS SAID?

Stuart Maynard: "We want to win every game that we go into whether it's realistic or not because we have that belief within the group and within this management team, we want to get results in every game and it'll be the same on Tuesday night. Devs [Alan Devonshire] has done an unbelievable job with Maidenhead and they're a very good, seasoned team at this level and it's going to be a difficult game like it is every week but we will be going into it believing we will get something from the game."

FORM GUIDE

Stones:

FC Halifax Town (A) 2-0 L Bromley (H) 1-1 D (Umerah)

Stockport County (A) 4-2 L (Cook, Henry) Weymouth (H) 3-2 W (Browne 2, Cook)

Eastleigh (A) 1-4 L (Clayden)

Maidenhead United:

Solihull Moors (A) 3-1 L (Kelly) Barnet (H) 1-2 L (McCoulsky)

Southend United (H) 2-1 W (De Havilland, Upward) Chesterfield (A) 1-0 L Woking (A) 1-0 L

WHO TO WATCH FOR?

Josh Kelly: One of Maidenhead's 'own', Kelly broke through the youth system at the Magpies making a goalscoring debut against Marlow aged just 18. He has established himself as a first team regular this season at National League level and it's been no coincidence that the club's upturn in form after the New Year brought four goals for the forward in January and eight in 2022 so far, making the young striker sought after by teams ranked higher up the pyramid.
