PREVIEW | King's Lynn Town (A)

THE DETAILS

King's Lynn Town v Wealdstone

Vanarama National League

The Walks

Saturday 25th September, 3:00pm kick-off

TICKETS

Tickets for Saturday's game are priced at £21 Adults, £19 Concessions and £5 U16s, these can be purchased in advance online HERE and are also available on the turnstile on the day of the game.

THE CONTEXT

Wealdstone completed the double over King's Lynn last season when the champions of the National League North and South met last season. A Danny Parish hat-trick in a 3-2 away win early in the season was followed up by a comfortable 3-1 home victory. The Linnets have recruited well over the summer but a number of postponements sees them currently sat below the Stones in the table in 20th place, whilst the Stones draw with Aldershot on the weekend kept them in 17th.

TEAM NEWS

Alex Dyer is serving the second of a three-game suspension for a retrospective action incident in our game away to Notts County, so will be unavailable. Rhys Browne missed Saturday's draw with Aldershot Town through illness and should be available again, whilst Connor Stevens remains out, although close to a return. Danny Parish scored a hat-trick here last season for the Stones and has returned from his loan at Billericay Town, although picked up an injury during his spell there which resulted in him playing no games on his loan spell.

WHAT WAS SAID Stuart Maynard: "They've recruited really well and have gone full-time over the summer which has been a major factor in how they're performing now. They've got two very good strikers and it's going to be a really tough test. But as I say, there's no easy games in this league but we will go into every game no matter the stature wanting to get three points out of it.

"We'll do our homework and prepare this week and go again, we cannot get too low after getting a point like that (vs Aldershot), we're all down but we've gotta be upbeat and go again and keep the enthusiasm because our performance levels have been very high and the Aldershot game was the first time I can come out and say we'd been poor today but we move on to Saturday!"
