THE CONTEXT

The Stones hit the road again travelling to this season's early table-topping pace-setters Dagenham & Redbridge. The Daggers have a 100% win record so far this season and will be buoyed by their 1-0 and 5-0 double they performed over the Stones last time out. Wealdstone meanwhile picked up their first point of the season at home to Southend United on Bank Holiday Monday.

TEAM NEWS

Monday's man of the match Jack Cawley is likely to continue in defence in the absence of Nikola Tavares, who picked up an injury in last week's defeat to Chesterfield. Zach Dronfield made the squad for the first time on Bank Holiday Monday after returning from suspension. Connor Stevens is around a month away from a return and Danny Parish continues his loan at Billericay Town.

WHAT WAS SAID?

Stuart Maynard: "Darryl's done an incredible job there because they had a slow start to the season last year and now they've found their form now they've switched to 3-5-2, they've signed Mauro Vilhete who has come in and is a top player and they've got players all around the pitch that can hurt you. I think they're going to be right in the mix this season and up there with the big boys. Dagenham is going to be a really tough game and a tough place to go."

FORM GUIDE

Stones:

Southend United (H) 0-0 D Chesterfield (A) 2-0 L

Woking (H) 1-2 L (Umerah)

Hungerford Town (H) 3-1 W (Umerah 2, Lewis)

Watford U23s (H) 3-0 W (Fasanmade, Trialist, Wishart)

Dagenham & Redbridge:

Barnet (A) 0-2 W (McCallum, Walker) Bromley (H) 4-2 W (Walker, McCallum, Robinson, Weston) Stockport County (A) 1-3 W (Wright, Walker, Robinson) Eastleigh (H) 3-1 W (Robinson, Wright, Sagaf)

Billericay Town (A) 3-2 L (Walker, Trialist)

WHO TO WATCH FOR?

Matt Robinson: Midfielder Robinson is in his sixth season at the Daggers after joining from Luton Town back in 2016 and has been a mainstay in the Dagenham midfield ever since. After an indifferent start to the season last term, Robinson played a big part in the Daggers upturn in form toward the end of the season as their charge for the play-offs came just a game too late. He has started this season in the same form and has scored crucial goals in the Daggers impressive victories over Stockport County and Bromley.
