PREVIEW | Bedfont & Feltham (A) - Middlesex Charity Cup
Academy Manager Kenny Mutsanya will lead a youthful Wealdstone side out at Combined Counties Division One side Bedfont & Feltham's The Orchard on Tuesday night as the Stones take part in their first Middlesex FA match since before the pandemic.
The Stones will feature a number of promising academy players looking to catch First Team Manager Stuart Maynard's eyes and may also feature a couple of first team players looking to get some match minutes in as they return from injury.
The Middlesex FA Charity Cup 2nd Round match against the Yellows on Tuesday 30th November will kick off at 7:45pm.
Tickets for the game are priced at £6 Adults and £3 Concessions. There is adequate parking facilities free of charge at the ground and should the car park fill to capacity then there's also adequate street parking within the vicinity of the ground.
The Orchard is a great venue for groundhoppers and plane spotters alike as it is situated just a short walk from Heathrow Airport's south runway and the Stones have played there once before in 2017 when they face then-tenants CB Hounslow United in the Middlesex Charity Cup, which they won 5-4 on penalties after a 4-4 draw.
Despite being established in 2012 following the merger of Bedfont FC and Feltham FC, the two sides have met before, with Wealdstone running out 3-0 winners in a Middlesex Charity Cup tie at Grosvenor Vale in 2017; Dan Fitchett, Jonny Wright and Danny Green were the Stones scorers that evening.
