MATCHDAY INFORMATION | Altrincham (H)

Wealdstone return to Vanarama National League action on Saturday hosting in form Altrincham.

Following impressive performances at high flying Chesterfield and Woking the Stones will be looking to bounce back from Tuesdays disappointing 5-0 reversal at FC Halifax Town.

Meanwhile the Robins have surged up the table following impressing victories over play off hopefuls Woking, Barnet and Solihull Moors.

Here is a quick matchday guide as to what to expect….

Turnstiles

Turnstiles will open at 1:45PM and we kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for the 3PM Kick Off.

This match will be unsegregated although Altrincham supporters have been allocated the first two sections of the MODU Stand for seating and the Hawthorn Terrace for standing. Entrance for all supporters will be via the main turnstiles which are at the main entrance to Grosvenor Vale.

Clubhouse

The Vale Social Club within The Grosvenor Vale Stadium Complex will be open to both Wealdstone and Altrincham supporters pre match all of whom are invited to sample some of the fine beverages on sale all at competitive prices.

There are no restrictions on entry to The Vale but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The bar will be open from midday with Man City vs Newcastle to be shown live on the big screen.

Post-match the Vale will remain open with the Man of the Match award to be presented in the Main Hall at around 5:15PM and Southampton vs Leicester shown live on the TVs.

Food & Refreshments

A full food menu provided by our award-winning match day caterers DDs is available to all supporters and a wide range of options are offered below:

Tickets for Schools

There will again be a family feel at the Stadium as we continue our “Tickets for Schools” Initiative, and we will be welcoming 200 pupils and parents from Bishop Winnington-Ingram School in Ruislip, Vaughan school in Harrow & St Johns in Rickmansworth.

The scheme is designed to engage youngers with football and provides free tickets to local school children to come and see elite sport in action.

Ukrainian families

Following the recent announcement of our partnership with Hillingdon Council to provide free tickets to displaced Ukrainian families living in the borough we will also be welcoming more recipients of the tickets and we know both sets of fans will make the families welcome and enjoy the experience.

Tickets

Tickets will be available to purchase online and at the turnstiles for both Wealdstone and Altrincham fans and both cash and credit cards are accepted.

However, a large attendance is expected so we encourage all fans to purchase online in advance to minimise queuing time at the turnstile.

Matchday programme

The award winning matchday programme will be available to purchase at the Entrance to Grosvenor Vale site and at various points outside the stadium and the club shop will be open.

Car Parking & Public Transport

Parking is street only or at various public car parks nearby, we encourage all fans to travel to the game by public transport.

Grosvenor Vale has great access to local railway and underground stations: Ruislip and Ruislip Manor are both on the Metropolitan Line and Piccadilly Line; whilst West Ruislip and Ruislip Gardens are on the Central Line. West Ruislip is also on the Chiltern Main line out of London Marylebone. Ruislip station & Ruislip Manor are just over 5 minute walk away from Grosvenor Vale, while Ruislip Gardens is around a 10 minute walk.

Access to parking at the Grosvenor Vale Stadium is limited to Wealdstone players and officials only. Any vehicle attempting to gain access to the stadium who has not had prior authorisation by the clubs General Manager will be turned away. There is also no access or parking for supporter coaches.

Access to Grosvenor Vale for authorised vehicles will cease at 2:30PM with the entire area becoming pedestrianised to allow fans on foot to arrive safely to the stadium.

And last but not least, we sincerely hope that both sets of fans enjoy the game!
