MATCHDAY INFO | Dorking Wanderers (H)

The Stones are back in action on Saturday against Dorking Wanderers and as is tradition on the final Saturday home fixture of the season its 'Club Day'. With both teams having safely secured their positions in the National League for next season and Wealdstone celebrating a record breaking season it should be a fun, relaxed, carnival atmosphere around The Vale.

There are lots of activities happening in and around the stadium both pre and post match so here is a quick matchday guide as to what to expect….

Turnstiles

Turnstiles will open just before 2PM and we kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for the 3PM Kick Off. Don’t forget as its 'Club Day' its FREE entry for U16s.

Segregation

For this match we will be segregated, with Dorking supporters allocated the Hawthorn Terrance and Shots Stands for standing and the MODU Stand for seating. We kindly ask Dorking supporters to use the away turnstiles which are clearly signposted at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale.

Clubhouse

Pre-match, The Vale Social Club within Grosvenor Vale will be open to both Dorking and Wealdstone supporters, all of whom are invited to sample some of the fine beverages on sale. The bar will be open from noon. Post-match the Vale will remain open for Wealdstone supporters only.

Easter Raffle

As a result of Easter Monday's postponement tickets will continue to be sold for the Easter Raffle around the ground. There are lots of great prizes on offer including a 5kg handmade Wealdstone branded Easter egg, a chocolate hamper, a Ninja air fryer, a Bosch lawn mower, a set of wireless headphones and much more.

Legends in attendance

We are delighted that we will be joined by around 60 former players to celebrate 'Club Day' so it should be a great opportunity to meet former club heroes with lots of photo opportunities available.

End of Season Awards

Post Match the traditional end of season awards will take place in The Vale. They are expected to start at around 5:30PM to give the players enough time to make they’re way into the hall, there will also be the presentation of both Saturday's and last Tuesday's Man of the Match awards and the draw for the Easter Raffle will be made.

Tickets for Schools

There will again be a family feel at the Stadium as we continue our “Tickets for Schools” initiative. We will be welcoming 200 pupils and parents from local schools Sacred Heart and Bishop Winnington. The scheme is designed to engage youngers with football and provides free tickets to local school children to come and see elite sport in action.

Food & Refreshments

A full food menu provided by our award-winning match day caterers DDs is available to all supporters and a wide range of options are offered. You can find the menu below:

Tickets

Tickets will be available to purchase at the turnstiles for both Wealdstone and Wealdstone fans and both cash and credit cards are accepted. However, we encourage all fans to purchase online in advance to minimise queuing time at the turnstile.

Matchday Programme

There is also a special edition of our award winning matchday programme with important updates from both First Team Manager Stuart Maynard and Chairman Rory Fitzgerald. The programme will be available to purchase at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale site and at various points outside the stadium and the club shop will be open.

Car Parking

Parking is street only or at various public car parks nearby, we encourage all fans to travel to the game by public transport.

Access to Grosvenor Vale is limited to those vehicles who have been given prior authorisation by the clubs General Manager. Any vehicle attempting to gain access to the stadium who has not had prior authorisation will be turned away.

The entrance to Grosvenor Vale must not be used as a drop off or pick area and anyone attempting to do so will be refused entry. Access to Grosvenor Vale for all vehicles will cease at 2:30PM with the entire area becoming pedestrianised to allow fans on foot to arrive safely to the stadium.

And last but not least We sincerely hope that both sets of fans enjoy the game!
