KAI BARTOLO CALLED UP FOR INTERNATIONAL DUTY

Stones academy forward Kai Bartolo has received an international call-up to join the Malta U19 national team for their upcoming training camp and fixtures this month.

Kai, who has 8 caps already for the U19s as well as 1 cap for the Malta U21s, will link up with the Malta squad from 10th to 20th November, as the young side prepare for three competitive fixtures:

• 12th November v Northern Ireland

• 15th November v Czech Republic

• 18th November v Azerbaijan

The call up is a fantastic achievement for Kai, who has impressed throughout his time in the Wealdstone Academy culminating with him being asked to train with our first team. His development continues to reflect the growing strength of the club’s youth programme and its commitment to nurturing future first-team players.
