INTERNATIONALS | Sesay earns third Sierra Leone cap
A big congratulations to David Sesay who earned his third cap for Sierra Leone last night in their 3-0 friendly defeat to Togo in Antalya, Turkey.
Sesay was called up to the Leone Stars squad for three friendlies in Turkey this week against fellow African sides Togo, Liberia and Congo.
David started in the 3-0 defeat last night and played the entire 90 minutes, where he also picked up a booking.
Sierra Leone have two more friendlies to play now, where they face Liberia on Sunday and then a quick turnaround in games where they face Congo on Tuesday as they prepare for their qualification campaign for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
David will miss tomorrow's match against Bromley but we wish him all the best and hope he can add cap four and five to his name this week.
Meanwhile, Ashley Charles wasn't selected in Grenada's 0-0 friendly draw away to Gibraltar on Wednesday, we're all hoping he can make his Spice Boys debut in their friendly against Andorra on Monday evening.
