INTERNATIONALS | Charles called-up by Grenada
Wealdstone midfielder Ashley Charles has been given his first full international call-up for Grenada for their upcoming friendlies against Gibraltar and Andorra.
The 22-year old former Watford midfielder had been called up previously by the Spice Boys last year but only in preliminary squads, but has now earned a full call-up to the 23-man squad.
Charles was part of the Stones 2018/19 National League South title winning squad and has established himself as a regular in Stuart Maynard's side this season, making 27 appearances so far, scoring once.
The Spice Boys play Gibraltar on Wednesday 23rd March with a 5PM kick off before heading across the Iberian peninsula to Andorra on Monday 28th March with a 7PM kick off.
His call-up means Ashley will miss this weekend's match at home to Bromley but he leaves with our best wishes as he represents the club on an international stage as fellow team-mates David Sesay and Alex Dyer have also done this season for their respective countries.
