COMMUNITY | Stones visit St Bernadette's

Wealdstone Manager Stuart Maynard and his Assistant Manager Matt Saunders were joined by striker Ira Jackson and General Manager Harvey Hicks as they visited St Bernadette's School in Harrow this morning.

The four Stones staff members were there to explain to pupils the importance sport has on both your physical and mental wellbeing and handed out free tickets to some upcoming Stones matches to the kids.

With over 240 pupils in years three to six in assembly the event was hailed a success by Headteacher David O'Farrell describing the four as "great ambassadors for the club."

We look forward to welcoming St Bernadette's pupils to Grosvenor Vale very soon and will be visiting more schools over the coming months.
