Clayden returns to Stones permanently
Wealdstone are delighted to confirm the signing of popular winger Charles Clayden on a permanent two-year deal.
The 22-year old spent the latter half of last season on loan at the Stones, making 18 appearances, scoring once and helping upturn the club's form in that crucial run-in, guiding the club to its highest league finish in over 35 years.
He joins us again from Charlton Athletic where he added to his first team appearances at the Addicks this season, playing a total of 18 times for the south-east London club.
He also spent time out on loan at National League side Bromley this season where he played seven times, scoring once.
Charles will once again don the 19 shirt for the Stones and we're delighted to have him at the club permanently this time. He goes straight into the squad for the big local derby against Barnet on Saturday.
