Beaconsfield and Stones support Scope

Wealdstone's friendly away to Beaconsfield Town on Monday night will see all of the ticket proceeds go towards disability charity Scope.

Scope campaigns to change negative attitudes about disability, provides direct services, and educates the public.

Stones fan Sam Acres is currently studying a BTEC Sports Coaching qualification at Beaconsfield and all of the gate receipts from Monday night's friendly will go to Scope, which is the charity of Sam's choice.

Sam is a regular face at Grosvenor Vale and has not let his cerebral palsy diagnosis prevent him from forging a coaching role in the game, where he is currently completing his qualification at the Rams.

The 18-year old is a pioneer and inspiration to everybody at both clubs and we are excited to take part in tomorrow's friendly where fans can contribute to a cause close to Sam's heart.
